Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer for offshore drilling and well operations in Stavanger. You will lead planning design for operations, partnering with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and efficient execution.

Role requires strong analytical and communication skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and a proactive mindset to drive planning and reporting across the project. Offshore travel is requested as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline.
• Valid Offshore Safety Course.
• Valid IWCF certification.
• Compliance with internal competence requirements.
• Strong teamwork and ability to collaborate across disciplines.
• Structured planning and execution approach.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with a commercial mindset.
• Good communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design work for planned operations offshore.

Contract period: 30.11.2026 - 30.12.2027

Location: Stavanger

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning and design work related to the planned operations.


• Provide the key planning for execution of Drilling & Well activities


• Support and follow-up of ongoing daily operations


• Perform experience transfer and well reporting


• Work in teams with other disciplines, perform method selection, risk assessment, evaluate and recommend required equipment


• Offshore traveling on request

Qualifications:

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree within relevant technical disciplines


• Valid Offshore Safety Course


• Valid IWCF


• Compliance/Completion of internal competence requirement


• Team builder where co-operation and teamwork are essential


• A structured approach regarding planning, coordinating and executing activities
