Job summary

HMH in Kristiansand is seeking a Systems Engineer – Rig Packages to strengthen our engineering team in Kristiansand. Join us to develop complete drilling rig package concepts and solutions from early tender phase through project delivery.

You will collaborate with customers, sales and multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure robust, efficient and competitive solutions, taking technical responsibility for the overall system concept in bids and projects.

Qualifications

Experience with drilling systems, rig packages or complex technical systems.
Ability to coordinate across disciplines and align multiple stakeholders.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Good knowledge of HMH products and a commercial mindset.

Responsibilities

Develop drilling rig package concepts and solutions from tender phase through project delivery.
Work closely with customers, sales and multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure robust, efficient and competitive solutions.
Be technically responsible for the overall system concept in bids and projects.
Coordinate across engineering disciplines and external suppliers.
Contribute to bid work, including documentation, concept maturity and technical risk evaluations.
Ensure solutions meet customer requirements while optimizing existing designs.
Support transition from tender phase to project execution.
