Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) is seeking a Systems Engineer – Rig Packages to strengthen our engineering team in Kristiansand. You will develop complete rig package concepts and solutions from tender to delivery, coordinating with customers, sales and multidisciplinary engineers.

The role requires a strong system understanding, experience with drilling systems or complex technical packages, and excellent English. Based in Kristiansand with potential international collaboration in Houston.

Qualifications

Strong system understanding and ability to see the bigger picture.
Experience with drilling systems, rig packages or complex technical systems.
Excellent English communication, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Develop concepts, layouts and system solutions for complete rig packages.
Participate in customer meetings and technical clarifications.
Be technically responsible for the overall system concept in bids and projects.
Coordinate across engineering disciplines and external suppliers.
Contribute to bid work, including documentation, concept maturity and risk evaluations.
Ensure solutions meet customer requirements while optimizing existing designs.
Support transition from tender phase to project execution.
