Job summary

OneSubsea is seeking a Senior Dynamic Analyst to lead the dynamic analysis of subsea umbilical projects and provide engineering expertise across the project lifecycle.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, optimize, and deliver safe, cost-effective solutions while promoting continuous improvement and professional growth within an international group.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a relevant engineering field.
• 5+ years of global riser analysis experience.
• Experience across Concept to execution phases.
• Proficiency in OrcaFlex, Shear7, Python.
• Strong engineering analysis and FEA skills.
• Ability to work across disciplines and cultures.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will combine technical expertise with collaboration and leadership, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop safe, efficient, and cost-effective engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle. As a Dynamic Analyst, you will:

Lead the dynamic analysis scope of subsea umbilical projects from concept development through delivery.

Provide engineering expertise and design input for umbilical systems and associated equipment.

Drive design optimization while ensuring compliance with industry standards, project requirements, and company quality processes.

Delegate analysis activities within the team and ensure the quality and consistency of technical deliverables.

Support and mentor less experienced engineers, helping to develop technical capabilities across the organization.

Contribute to the development, maintenance, and improvement of analysis tools, workflows, and best practices.

Collaborate closely with project teams, clients, management, and site personnel to achieve successful project outcomes.

Support multidisciplinary engineering activities across all phases of the project lifecycle.

Capture lessons learned and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Contribute to the development and application of innovative technologies and value-driven engineering solutions.

Work closely with other departments and business units to ensure technical and project requirements are met.

Provide technical expertise and analytical input to bids, studies, and proposals.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

A Master's degree or higher in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or Ocean Engineering.

At least 5 years of experience in global riser analysis, preferably with a focus on subsea umbilicals.

Experience supporting subsea projects across Concept, Pre-FEED, FEED, and execution phases.

Strong capabilities in engineering analysis, numerical modelling, and finite element analysis.

Proficiency in OrcaFlex, Shear7, Python, or equivalent engineering software.

A sound understanding of relevant offshore engineering codes, standards, and industry practices.

The ability to manage ambiguity, troubleshoot effectively, and solve complex technical challenges.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across disciplines and cultures.
