Job summary

Jobtailor in Norway invites a sharp deployment leader to drive planning and execution of Arondite technology with customers and partners. You will ensure real-world user problems are solved through safe deployments with maximum operational impact.

You will map workflows, pain points, and integration challenges; translate field insight into product direction; travel across Norway to operate in demanding environments.

Job description

• Lead the planning and execution of implementing Arondite technology with customers and partners in Norway
• Ensure real-world user problems are solved through effective, safe deployments with maximum operational impact
• Engage users and stakeholders to map workflows, pain points, operational constraints and integration challenges
• Identify and frame customer problems aligned with Cobalt and Arondite’s autonomy software stack
• Collaborate with customers and partners to prioritise high-value problems
• Design and guide iterative delivery plans that reduce user pain, demonstrate value quickly and build confidence for broader deployment
• Bridge users, product and engineering teams so solutions align with operational realities
• Support demonstrations, trials and pilot activities involving heterogeneous Norwegian, UK or NATO-relevant systems
• Help customers and partners understand Cobalt interoperability across sensors, autonomous platforms and command-and-control workflows
• Refine priorities with customers to drive adoption, measurable impact and product feedback
• Champion a user-centric approach across deployment activity and the wider company
• Contribute to Arondite’s deployment methodology in Norway, incorporating local operating conditions, security requirements and customer expectations
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to translate field insight into product direction
• Travel across Norway and work in demanding operational or trial environments

Requirements

• Technical proficiency: programming skills, a technical degree, or equivalent experience in a technology company
• Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Independent decision-making under pressure
• Willingness to travel and work on site with customers for a significant proportion of your time
• Ability to understand both software systems and operational user needs, and to translate effectively between them
• Significant opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities
• Ideally, experience in defence or defence technology
• Ideally, experience supporting field deployments, demonstrations, pilots or operational trials
• Ideally, familiarity with autonomy, robotics, sensing, command-and-control systems, ISR workflows or systems integration
• Ideally, experience working with military, government research, or public-sector end users
• Ideally, exposure to NATO operating environments, interoperability challenges or multinational defence contexts
• Ideally, keenness to take on leadership responsibilities as the scale of the Norwegian operation grows
• Legal right to work in Norway at the time of application, or a clear and realistic route to obtaining it
• Likely requirement to hold an appropriate security clearance or be willing and able to undergo Norwegian security vetting at the relevant level
