Job summary

Lime Petroleum AS is seeking a technology leader to join as CTO for AI-powered SaaS initiatives in Oslo. You will shape technology strategy and lead execution in close partnership with the CEO and founders, spanning early product launches to scalable platforms and international growth.

AI will be core, and you will identify where it delivers meaningful customer value with robust architecture and data foundations.

• You have built and shipped SaaS products, led engineers and made consequential technology decisions.
• You understand the practical challenges of deploying AI, including model selection, data quality, privacy, performance and cost.

Your mandate
As CTO, you will shape the technology strategy and lead execution in close partnership with the CEO and founders. Your remit may span an early product launch, the transition to a scalable platform or the next phase of international growth.
AI will be a core part of that journey. You will identify where it creates meaningful customer value and build the architecture, data foundations and engineering practices to deliver it reliably.

Your priorities will include:

• Translating business ambition into a focused technology and AI roadmap.
  
• Building products with LLMs, agents and intelligent workflows.
  
• Establishing evaluation and monitoring practices that make AI dependable in production.
  
• Scaling architecture and engineering teams while maintaining delivery speed.
  
• Using AI throughout software development to improve productivity and quality.
  
• Making technology investments that support customer adoption and sound unit economics.

Your experience
You have built and shipped SaaS products, led engineers and made consequential technology decisions. You understand the practical challenges of deploying AI, including model selection, data quality, privacy, performance and cost.

You are comfortable moving between strategic discussions and technical detail. You set priorities, take responsibility for trade-offs and create momentum in an environment where resources and time matter.
