Job summary

Take Take Take is seeking a Chief Technology Officer to lead the technical vision and the 4-engineer team for its AI-powered chess platform in Oslo. You will report to the CEO and define the technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap, while ensuring scalable systems and high-quality delivery.

You will shape AI-driven product experiences, balance trade-offs, and build a world-class engineering organization in a startup environment. This role is office-first and Oslo-based.

Qualifications

Solid technical background.
Fluency in English.
Based in Oslo and office-first.
Experience from start-ups or scale-ups is preferred.
Background in gaming, edtech, or subscription consumer products is ideal.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical vision for a global chess platform and a team of 4 engineers.
Report directly to the CEO and collaborate with leadership.
Set architectural direction and ensure scalable, reliable systems.
Drive AI integration and data-driven product features.
Foster a culture of autonomy, excellence, and rapid delivery.
