Job summary

Laminar Projects is seeking a seasoned Cost Engineer to overhaul how costs are managed across complex construction projects. You will work directly with clients, manage costs through the full project life cycle, and lead collaboration with project managers, planners, and design teams to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.

We value experience in data centres or high‑tech environments and a willingness to travel every other week within the Nordic market.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cost management on construction projects.
• Strong English communication; Norwegian is a plus.
• Willingness to travel every other week across the Nordic market.
• Experience with data centres or high‑tech projects is valued.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional collaboration and drive change.

Responsibilities

• Own the cost: manage project costs through all stage gates with forecasting.
• Own the outcome: lead pre‑construction estimating and post‑contract cost management.
• Report and inform: provide actionable reports to stakeholders.
• Make scalable solutions: develop scalable, repeatable best practices and tools.
• Develop everyone: maximise development of the team and educate clients.
