Job summary

Tinytots International Daycare & Preschool in Copenhagen is seeking an experienced cook to prepare and cook high-quality meals for children.

You will study recipes, set up menus, estimate food requirements, manage inventory, control waste, ensure hygiene, and supervise kitchen helpers to maintain consistent flavor, texture and safety. Candidates should have 2–3 years hands-on cooking experience and be able to communicate in conversational English.

Are you an experienced cook with deep passion for cooking various cuiseine? Do you take pride in cooking every single dish in consistently high quality?

Tinytots International Daycare & Preschool is an integrated international preschool/ kindergarten in Copenhagen, Denmark, approved by kommunes (municipalities) . We currently have three locations in different parts of the Copenhagen area.

The work is full time, 37hrs weekly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals for children.
• Responsibilities include studying recipes, setting up menus.
• Estimate food requirements and costs.
• Maintain & manage inventory and records of food and supplies. You need to be technically savvy to operate our systems.
• Control food wastage without compromising on food quality.
• Ensure hygiene and cleanliness at all the times.
• Provide assistance and guidance to kitchen helpers.

Requirements

Qualifications and Language proficiency

• Ability to communicate in conversational English

Experience

• At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in cooking is required.
• Can work independently with minimum supervision and can produce high quality (flavor, taste, texture) food on consistent basis
