Job summary

Q-Storage in Svalbard is seeking a Concierge Coordinator to deliver exceptional guest service and assist with guest needs during their stay. You will greet guests on arrival, help with check-in/check-out, provide local recommendations, coordinate dining and transportation, and collaborate with hotel departments to ensure a seamless experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional language proficiency is a plus.
• Knowledge of local area and tourist attractions.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out process.
• Provide recommendations and assistance with local attractions, restaurants and transportation.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
• Coordinate reservations for dining events and other services.
• Maintain an organized concierge desk area and keep track of guest requests.
• Assist with special requests such as arranging transportation, booking tours or making dinner reservations.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Keep up-to-date with current events and activities in the surrounding area to provide accurate information to guests.
