Job summary

StaffHost digital seeks a Cloud Native / Platform Engineer to join its Oslo team. The role focuses on Kubernetes, platform engineering, automation, and enabling software developers with reliable cloud-native platforms.

Responsibilities include designing, building and evolving platforms, improving deployment automation, and collaborating with product teams to scale and streamline software delivery. Fluency in Norwegian is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of coding experience in software development or IaC.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment.

Cloud Native / Platform Engineer – Oslo

We’re looking for:

• Good understanding of Kubernetes, Platform Engineering and/or Cloud Native technologies
• At least 2 years of experience with coding, either software development/programming or Infrastructure as Code
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment
• A solid understanding of software development and product-oriented teams
• Experience working with developers and product teams to enable them from the platform side
• Fluent Norwegian

It’s not essential but a bonus if you have:

• 2+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, SRE or similar
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform or other programming languages
• Knowledge of the CNCF landscape and Open Source ecosystem
• Experience working with Azure, AWS, GCP or on-premise developer platforms
• Experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift
• Experience enabling software development teams through internal platforms and automation
