Job summary

StaffHost digital is seeking an experienced Microsoft Cloud / Azure Engineer to join their Oslo team. You will design, implement, operate and continuously improve enterprise-scale Azure environments for Norwegian private and public sector clients.

You will work with Azure Landing Zones, IaC, DevOps practices, and advanced monitoring. Fluent Norwegian is required; hybrid opportunities may apply as part of a collaborative, growth-focused IT organisation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with complex Microsoft Azure environments.
• Strong design, implementation, optimization and security of Azure solutions.
• Deep knowledge of Azure administration across compute, storage, networking, identity and security.
• Experience with Landing Zones and cloud topologies.
• Solid DevOps understanding and practices.
• Policy-driven governance, FinOps and cost optimisation experience.
• IaC using Terraform, Bicep and PowerShell.
• Hybrid identity integration incl. Azure Arc and Entra Connect/Cloud Sync.
• Monitoring and operations with Azure Monitor, Defender, Sentinel and Grafana.
• CI/CD pipelines, GitHub & GitHub Actions, including security features.
• Applied AI in Microsoft Cloud, Azure AI Services, Copilot and responsible AI.
• Fluent Norwegian, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, operate and continuously improve Microsoft Cloud environments.

• Manage governance, security and cost optimisations across environments.

Your experience should include:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with complex Microsoft Azure environments
• Strong experience designing, implementing, optimising and securing Azure solutions
• Deep knowledge of Azure administration, compute, storage, networking, identity and security
• Experience with Azure Landing Zones and cloud topologies
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices
• Experience with policy-driven governance, compliance and cloud cost optimisation / FinOps
• Infrastructure as Code using technologies such as Terraform, Bicep and PowerShell
• Hybrid and identity integration, including Azure Arc, Microsoft Entra Connect/Cloud Sync and Conditional Access
• Monitoring and operations using technologies such as Azure Monitor, Microsoft Sentinel, Defender and Grafana
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern platform delivery
• Practical experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions, including security features and integration with Azure
• Applied AI experience on Microsoft Cloud, such as Azure AI Services, Copilot enablement and responsible AI practices
• Fluent Norwegian, both written and spoken
