Vinjekroa in Åmot, Vinje municipality, Telemark is seeking a reliable Chef to join our kitchen team. You will prepare and cook dishes from our menu, including traditional Norwegian fare, burgers and pizza, while maintaining high quality and presentation.

The role offers a stable position in a newly renovated restaurant, with a friendly team and a focus on hygiene, consistency and efficient daily operations in a scenic Telemark setting.

Formación

• Previous experience as a chef or cook.
• Able to work independently when required.
• Efficient and organized during busy periods.
• Reliable, flexible and responsible.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Understands hygiene, quality and consistency.
• Can communicate in English or a Scandinavian language.

Responsabilidades

• Preparing and cooking dishes from our menu.
• Preparing traditional Norwegian dishes as well as burgers, pizza and other dishes.
• Ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
• Following food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and efficient.
• Preparing ingredients and managing mise en place.
• Working closely with the rest of the kitchen and restaurant team.
• Contributing to smooth daily kitchen operations.
• Assisting with food preparation for events and larger functions when required.
