Job summary

Fjellheisen in Tromsø invites a Café Manager to lead the new Panorama café project. You will ensure superb guest care, smooth service, stock readiness, and daily operations, reporting to the Restaurant Manager.

You bring hands-on experience from café, restaurant or F&B operations, fluency in English, and a practical, structured approach to scheduling and tasks. Norwegian language skills are a plus, and the role offers a competitive fixed salary.

Qualifications

• Experience from café, restaurant or F&B operations.
• Fluent in English; Norwegian or other languages are a plus.
• Relevant education will be valued.

Responsibilities

• Making sure guests always meet friendly, attentive service and are well looked after
• Facilitating smooth service - having the café well prepared, stocked and ready before opening
• Ordering and stock management
• Shift scheduling and day‑to‑day follow‑up of your team members
• Tidying and resetting the café after service, so it is always guest‑ready
• Close collaboration with the Restaurant Manager
