Qualifications

• RN licensure with the Virginia Department of Health Professions is required.
• Compact State Licensure in Nursing is required.
• BLS Certification required.
• Three years of Nursing Leadership preferred; three years in area of clinical specialty required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the 24-hour management of the Behavioral Health Unit.
• Develop patient care services goals, objectives, and standards of performance.
• Organize the department to meet legal, organizational, and medical staff guidelines.
• Evaluate changes and ensure compliance with Standards of Nursing Practice.
