Job summary

CHC Helicopter Service AS in Bergen, Norway, is seeking a Production Planner to join the Technical team. You will support Part-145 engineers and supervisors, coordinating with CAMO maintenance planning to ensure effective short and long-term planning for the fleet.

You will maintain aircraft availability through scheduling and coordinating maintenance tasks across locations. The role involves regional/global planning, continuous improvement, and collaboration with multiple departments to align

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance planning within aviation or a technically complex industry.
• Experience with CMMS Planning Software (preferably AMOS).
• Proven ability to collaborate with multiple departments and stakeholders.
• Good understanding of technical documentation.
• Strong IT skills and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a detailed 14-day rolling maintenance plan and contribute to the 12-week rolling plan with the regional team.
• Create and manage maintenance work packages and work orders.
• Prepare daily and bi-weekly maintenance plans for production activities.
• Coordinate with Shift Supervisors to align schedules with manpower and resources.
• liaise with the Regional Material Coordinator to ensure timely availability of tools, materials and parts.
• Monitor maintenance progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Align maintenance schedules with Flight Operations to minimize disruptions.
• Lead weekly planning meetings with Production teams and participate in regional/global planning meetings.
• Identify risks or constraints affecting maintenance execution.
• Report on base maintenance status, material shortages, RTS dates to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with global planning team to improve processes.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the Team Leader or Supervisor.
