Job summary

IKM Consultants AS seeks an Automation professional to lead technical deliveries in the Alver area, ensuring supplier designs align with requirements and standards. You will input into project plans, assess change proposals, and contribute to procurement activities while managing risk and HSE during design.

The role requires strong communication in English and Norwegian/Scandinavian, with experience in Oil & Gas environments (EX/Exi) and a relevant automation degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation Technology or related field.
• Experience with technical requirements and international standards.
• Expertise in Oil & Gas disciplines (e.g., EX/Exi).
• Strong English and Scandinavian language communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own technical deliveries within the automation discipline and assigned projects.
• Ensure supplier designs meet company requirements and are correctly implemented.
• Contribute to project plans and perform quality assurance checks.
• Assess change proposals and provide recommendations.
• Support procurement processes and tender evaluations.
• Assist in establishing assignment agreements.
• Manage risk and HSE aspects throughout the design phase.
