Job summary

Isar Aerospace is seeking a Launch Pad Operations Engineer on the Arctic island of Andøya to perform test and launch campaigns of the Spectrum vehicle, collaborating with design engineers from our Germany headquarters.

You will improve and maintain the launch infrastructure, create procedures, and work as a crucial link to enable reliable access to space from Europe, joining a dynamic team in a fast-growing space company.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or bachelor’s/master’s in aerospace/mechanical engineering or similar.

Responsibilities

• Launch Campaigns: support preparation, pad readiness, and ground/vehicle system operation from the launch operations center.
• Stage Testing: prepare and conduct stage test campaigns ahead of Spectrum launches.
• Process Improvement: develop and improve procedures for safe, smooth operations.
• High Quality Standards: maintain quality while handling flight hardware and interfacing with the launch vehicle.
