Job summary

NOV is seeking a Project Manager for its Aftermarket Projects team in Kristiansand, Norway. You will lead large, technically complex projects—recertifications, upgrades, and automation—through full lifecycle from initiation to final review, coordinating engineering, planning, field service, supply chain, and customers.

On-site work at facilities and offshore rigs is required, with domestic and international travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, with a proven track record of successful project deliveries including in-field execution.
• Strong technical skills and in-depth knowledge of NOV equipment and its applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
• Proficiency in project management tools and techniques, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site as required by project needs.
• A degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects run by Aftermarket Projects group, ensuring successful project delivery.
• Oversee all project phases, including quoting, planning, on-site execution, and final documentation.
• Maintain strong communication with clients, team members, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure timely and accurate project progress updates, providing regular reports and status updates.
• Manage project resources effectively, including equipment, personnel, and budgets.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges, implementing appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project integration and alignment.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the project team, ensuring high-quality work.
• Represent NOV professionally and promote a positive company image.
