Job summary

Aker Solutions is seeking an AI Platform & Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Oslo or Stavanger. You will design, build and operate scalable cloud infrastructure and AI platform services to move AI workloads from experimentation to production, collaborating across domains to implement best practices.

The role focuses on deploying AI workloads, evolving deployment frameworks, and ensuring secure, cost-efficient infrastructure across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments, with a strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/IT/SE or related field.
• Hands-on experience designing, deploying and managing cloud platforms, with strong Azure expertise.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation: Terraform, OpenTofu, Bicep, PowerShell or similar.
• Experience supporting AI/ML workloads, including platform engineering and deployment considerations.
• Knowledge of cloud/hybrid architectures, GPUs, security, networking and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and platform capabilities for enterprise AI solutions.
• Deploy, operate and optimize AI workloads across cloud, hybrid and on-prem environments.
• Own and evolve AI platform services, deployment frameworks and IaC practices for reliable delivery.
• Evaluate new AI platform technologies and translate capabilities into practical solutions.
• Collaborate with AI Centre of Excellence, developers and IT teams to establish best practices and reusable components.
• Support the lifecycle of AI solutions from environment setup to monitoring and optimization.
