Job summary

Alva Industries is seeking a Motion Control Systems Engineer to test, tune, and validate electric motors. You will work with the development team and customers to ensure precise motor control and high performance in real-world applications.

The role combines hands-on lab testing, troubleshooting, and automation of test processes for electrical/mechatronics engineers with 2–7 years of experience who enjoy practical, hands-on work.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of control theory, PID, and loop stability.
• Ability to read schematics and operate test equipment.
• Hands-on problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Test and tune motor controllers for position, speed, and torque
• Integrate Alva's motors with third-party drives and customer systems
• Troubleshoot and optimize motor and control systems
• Use lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and power analyzers
• Document results and contribute to test setups and demos
