Job summary

Alva Industries seeks a hands-on technician for its prototyping team in Trondheim to validate new electric motors under development. You will assemble motor components and support data collection and testing, using basic electro-mechanical knowledge and a proactive approach.

The role emphasizes following procedures, documenting results, and collaborating with engineers. English or Norwegian fluency is required, with a preference for candidates with soldering, epoxies, and BOM experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow and write simple procedures and work instructions.
• Experience with engineering drawings and BOMs is an advantage.
• Experience with epoxies or adhesives is an advantage.
• Soldering experience is an advantage.
• Fluency in Norwegian or English.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components of electric motors.
• Collect and document test data using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Support engineers with testing and validation activities.
• Mixing and handling epoxies and potting materials.
• Soldering electrical components and wiring.
