Job summary

Tampnet AS is seeking an Accountant to join our team in Stavanger. You will handle revenue billing, VAT reporting, cost invoices, and bank reconciliations while supporting month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting.
• 3–5 years’ accounting experience.
• Authorized accountant credential.
• Experience from international environments would be an advantage.
• Experience from oil and gas and/or telecommunications would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Revenue billing, including use of client portals.
• Perform revenue accruals.
• Processing of cost invoices.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Reporting of VAT.
• Reconciliation of balance sheet items.
• Perform general accounting tasks.
• Perform month-end closing tasks.
• Registration of customs declarations.
• Contribute to the professional development of the department.
• Participate in carrying out other relevant assignments.

Main responsibilities and tasks

• Revenue billing, including use of client portals

Qualification requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting
• 3-5 years’ experience with accounting
• Authorized accountant
• Experience from international companies or international business environments would be an advantage
• Experience from oil and gas and/or telecommunications would be an advantage
• Good technical skills and understanding of relevant accounting systems
• Experience with using Finance automation tools / AI
