Job summary

g2 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Sitemanager Yachting to oversee the delivery of marine electrical installation projects in the luxury yacht-building sector. You will act as on-site lead, coordinating operations, teams, clients and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

This is a senior role demanding strong leadership, meticulous planning and a solid understanding of marine electrical systems, safety standards, and quality controls.

Qualifications

• MBO qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Site Manager within yacht building.
• Strong technical understanding of marine electrical installations.
• Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills.
• Previous experience managing teams and subcontractors.
• VCA VOL and NEN 3140 certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Fluent in Dutch and able to communicate effectively in English.
• Full Category B driving licence.
• Based within commuting distance of Aalsmeer or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily site activities on yacht construction projects
• Lead and motivate installation teams to achieve project objectives
• Coordinate labour allocation, planning, and material requirements
• Monitor project progress and budgeted hours
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and technical standards
• Attend project and construction meetings
• Act as the main point of contact for clients and subcontractors
• Coordinate closely with Engineering, Planning, and Project Management teams
• Provide regular progress reports and updates
• Ensure compliance with VCA, NEN 3140, and company procedures
