Job summary

Middle Point is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to supervise and coordinate international maritime projects. You will prepare schedules, manage tasks within the engineering team, monitor budgets and forecasts, and maintain clear communication with clients and management.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of Lead Engineer experience in the maritime sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Lead Engineer within the maritime sector.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical engineering and experience guiding engineering teams.
• Familiarity with project management methods is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers and coordinate one or more international projects.
• Prepare schedules and manage tasks within the engineering team.
• Monitor project planning, budgets and forecasts.
• Maintain clear communication with project teams, management and clients.
• Ensure engineering activities meet relevant project procedures and standards.
• Look for opportunities to improve engineering and design processes.
• Occasionally travel abroad for short-term project assignments.
