We are seeking a highly motivated, service-driven professional to join our team as a Workplace Host supporting our client’s flagship’s office in Amsterdam. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced corporate environment, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, and is passionate about delivering outstanding hospitality experiences. As the primary point of contact for employees, clients, and visitors, you will play a critical role in creating a welcoming, professional, and seamless workplace experience. You will lead by example, support and coach reception team members, coordinate all on site held events, support the facilities team in coordinating contractor attendance and ensure all front-of-house and hospitality services are delivered to the highest standards while reflecting JLL’s and client’s values.

Deliver an exceptional welcoming experience for all visitors, employees, and clients in the Amsterdam offices. Monitor and coordinate visitor registration processes, issue visitor passes and ensure compliance with access control procedures. Provide a professional and attentive hospitality experience, including offering refreshments and assistance with luggage where appropriate. Maintain the offices, reception, waiting areas, meeting rooms, restrooms and shared spaces to the highest standards of presentation and cleanliness. Act as the main point of contact for reception-related services and enquiries.
Coordinate meeting room bookings and ensure all rooms are fully prepared for meetings and events. Coordinate and support corporate events from planning through execution. Ensure all client-facing spaces reflect a premium workplace experience. Liaison with suppliers and vendors for the delivery of conferences & events, to coordinate F&B, AV and other bespoke event requirements. Support conference & event room setups, including furniture arrangements and movable wall configurations where applicable. Monitor and check all equipment including Audio-Visual (AV) systems to ensure correct operation, report any defects to the correct department. Ensure meeting rooms are clean, stocked, operational, and professionally presented.
Support, mentor, and train reception team members to deliver consistently high service standards. Manage and respond to the CWS inbox, including service requests, complaints, and queries. Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are maintained, updated, and consistently followed.
Work collaboratively with Facilities Management (FM), Security, and Workplace teams to ensure smooth daily operations. Coordinate security access cards for employees, visitors, and vendors. Manage courier services, incoming/outgoing mail, taxis, parking administration, and vehicle logs where applicable. Oversee third‑party vendors delivering soft services, porterage, catering, and cleaning services. Conduct daily cleaning and workplace audits to ensure service quality and workplace standards are maintained. Escort and coordinate landlord or vendor maintenance activities onsite.
Build and develop effective relationships with key stakeholders &/or client and be comfortable working across all levels.
Remain aware of Hygiene, Health and Safety policies and Fire Regulations. To record and report any accidents and near misses within the location adhering to company procedures in agreement and together with central security team. To ensure all equipment is well maintained and is in good working order.
Support the implementation disaster recovery and business continuity programmes. Follow established escalation procedures and incident reporting procedures.
