Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Middelburg, Netherlands, seeks an Engineering Manager to lead technical operations across Life Safety, Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC and other critical infrastructure. You will mentor staff, develop maintenance strategies, and coordinate with clients to ensure service excellence.

The role requires 5–8 years of facilities engineering, professional certification, and strong communication in English and Arabic.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of facilities engineering and operations experience in mission-critical environments.
• Professional qualification/certification in electrical, mechanical, or building systems engineering.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, data centers, UPS systems, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
• Experience in testing and commissioning of new facilities.
• Proven experience managing Dual Loop Power (DLP) programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical liaison between engineering teams and data center clients.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Lead initiatives to enhance client satisfaction and service delivery excellence.
• Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance programs for existing and new building systems.
• Create detailed job plans and asset management protocols for optimal system performance.
• Oversee operations, maintenance, and capital improvements for Life Safety, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Security, and Elevator systems.
• Develop strategic preventive maintenance plans and system improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Reliability Engineers and System Owners to optimize preventive maintenance scheduling and CMMS system efficiency.
• Analyze equipment performance data and develop Emergency Response Action Plans (ERAP) for potential system failures.
• Manage system upgrades and enhancements across Fire Systems, Utilities, and other critical infrastructure.
• Lead, mentor, and develop engineering and maintenance staff to expand technical capabilities.
• Oversee training programs to enhance team skills and operational knowledge.
• Foster a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

Technical Expertise
