Job summary

Maersk is seeking an experienced Workplace Health Manager to shape and strengthen our approach to workplace health, absenteeism, reintegration, and occupational health compliance across the Netherlands.

You will partner with People Partners, leaders, HSE, and external providers, translating Dutch regulations into practical guidance and leading continuous improvements in case management and governance.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of relevant experience in HR, occupational health, absenteeism management, or related field.
• Strong experience managing complex absenteeism and reintegration processes in the Netherlands.
• Solid knowledge of Dutch sickness absence, reintegration, labour, Arbo and Wet verbetering poortwachter.

Responsibilities

• Shape and improve absenteeism and reintegration across Maersk entities in the Netherlands.
• Guide leaders and stakeholders on complex absenteeism and reintegration topics.
• Ensure compliance with RI&E and PME/PMO processes and drive improvements.
• Lead audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews as workplace health expert.
• Provide data-driven insights and practical recommendations to reduce risks.
