Job summary

Picnic is seeking a working student to join the Recruitment team in Amsterdam. You will help with events, sourcing, and recruitment initiatives, supporting open positions and candidate outreach for at least 16-20 hours per week.

You’ll collaborate with recruiters and internal teams, using LinkedIn and other search techniques to build strong talent pipelines, with a focus on proactive sourcing and creative strategies. Greenhouse ATS familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Student status required; studying in relevant field.
• Experience with internships or working-student roles preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; Dutch/German/French a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist recruiters and internal teams to understand position requirements.
• Source candidates via LinkedIn and other search techniques; approach potential candidates.
• Support talent-pipeline strategies and candidate outreach initiatives.
• Propose innovative ideas to improve recruitment processes.
• Help organize events and recruitment activities (e.g., Business Course for Analysts).

Our Recruitment team plays a crucial role in finding top talent worldwide and persuading them to join Picnic. If you have excellent communication skills, thrive on identifying the right profiles, and know how to get candidates excited about unique challenges, we want to hear from you! Understanding the profiles we seek is key, as finding the right people is vital to our success. As a working student, you get the opportunity to join our Recruitment team - helping with events, sourcing, and recruitment initiatives! We are looking for someone who can support our team for at least 16-20 hours a week (the more the merrier).

Tricks of the trade

• Collaboration: You'll work closely with our recruiters and various internal teams to understand the specific requirements for open positions
• Sourcing: Using LinkedIn Search and other search techniques, you'll actively look for potential candidates and approach them to explore opportunities at Picnic
• Strategy: You'll support the team with creative strategies that help build the talent pipelines with unique talent
• Innovation: You'll bring fresh ideas and provide valuable input to enhance our talent pipeline processes and improve overall recruitment outcomes

For example, every year at Picnic we organize a Business Course event for potential Analyst candidates (see video here ). In 2026, it could be YOU the one recruiting for it, together with the support of our Analytics Recruitment team.

Your superpowers

• You are currently pursuing studies in Psychology, HRM, Business Administration or similar fields
• You have prior internships or working-student experience, preferably in active sourcing or recruiting
• You are ambitious and dare to generate and share cool ideas all the time
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably also Dutch, German or French
• You are a team player with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
