Picnic is seeking a Business Analyst Working Student in Amsterdam to tackle data-driven challenges across logistics, technology, and consumer growth. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions that impact millions of customers in a fast-paced startup environment.

You’ll leverage SQL and Python to build insights, communicate findings to stakeholders, and contribute to strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Master’s program in Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial, Automation or Production Engineering; Mathematics; Econometrics; AI; or equivalent.
• Passion for data analytics and business consulting.
• Ability to explain complex analytical concepts to stakeholders.
• Proficiency with SQL and Python or eagerness to learn.
• Fluent in English; EU citizenship.
• Available for a minimum of 16 hours per week for at least 4 months.

• Logistics: support optimization from fulfillment centers to last-mile delivery and demand forecasting across Europe.
• Tech: help build scalable backend systems, AI workflows, and internal tooling.

Your superpowers

• You are currently enrolled in a Master's program in Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial, Automation or Production Engineering; Mathematics; Econometrics; AI; or equivalent
• Passion for data analytics and business consulting
• You have the ability to explain complex analytical concepts in a comprehensible manner to various stakeholders
• Proficiency with SQL and Python or are excited to learn
• You are fluent in both written and verbal English and have an EU citizenship available
• Available for minimum 16h per week for minimum 4 months, preferably more
