Job summary

Maersk in the Netherlands seeks a WMS Implementer to collaborate with business units to deploy applications and integrations that enhance warehouse efficiency, reduce costs, and align day-to-day operations with leadership standards.

You will lead small to medium IT projects, coordinate with infrastructure teams and Global teams, and produce requirements, test plans and training for super-users as needed. This onsite role supports Maersk's diverse, value-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and supporting warehouse management systems and daily work using BI analysis tools.
• Experience in MS SQL, or any SQL language will be an added advantage.
• Possess good business knowledge of supply chain execution across multiple verticals.
• Experience delivering major IT projects such as system updates, migrations, upgrades, or integrations.
• Basic knowledge in Project Management.
• Warehouse automation exposure is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Work with business and operational teams to understand requirements and implement IT solutions for WMS as part of a wider landscape.
• Support full implementations from design through testing to go-live.
• Lead small to medium technical implementations and coordinate with infrastructure teams.
• Coordinate with Global teams and extended Maersk resources to deliver development or customization.
• Produce functional requirements, project plans, system configuration and test plans.
• Conduct training for super-users and project team members as necessary.
• Handle change requirements and review existing implementations for improvements.
• Resolve issues escalated to TCO and act as SME during major incidents.
• Support disaster recovery, system testing, migrations and upgrades as needed.
