Job summary

Maersk in the Netherlands is seeking a WMS Implementer to deploy warehouse management solutions and integrations, collaborating with business units to boost operational efficiency. You will lead design to go-live, coordinate with infrastructure and Global teams, and train end users as part of project delivery.

The role focuses on optimizing distribution and contract logistics, integrating WMS with related systems, and supporting major system upgrades in a fast-paced, diverse environment.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and supporting warehouse management systems.
• Experience with MS SQL or SQL language is advantageous.
• Knowledge of supply chain execution in distribution centre services and contract logistics.
• Experience delivering IT projects such as system updates, migrations, upgrades, integrations.
• Warehouse automation exposure is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units to implement and deliver IT solutions for WMS.
• Support full implementations from design to go-live.
• Lead small to medium technical implementations and coordinate with infrastructure teams.
• Coordinate with global teams and extended Maersk resources to deliver development or customization.
• Produce functional requirements, project plans, system configuration and test plans for projects.
• Conduct training for super-users and project team members.
• Handle change requests and review existing implementations for improvements.
• Assist in incident resolution and disaster recovery testing.
