Job summary

DSV – Global transport and logistics is seeking a Supervisor Application Engineering in Moerdijk. You will lead a team of eight application specialists and engineers responsible for development, implementation and maintenance of our Warehouse Management System and related applications.

You bring HBO-level education with a logistics focus, strong knowledge of WMS systems, and proven logistics/warehouse experience, plus Dutch and English communication skills to drive process improvements in a

Qualifications

Higher professional education level (HBO) complemented by a logistics course.
Insight into RedPrairie/JDA Dispatcher or proven knowledge of other WMS systems.
Demonstrable work experience in a logistics or warehouse environment.
Good communication skills in Dutch and English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

Managing, coaching and developing a team of 8 application specialists and engineers.
Creating and safeguarding a culture focused on ownership, continuous improvement, quality and knowledge sharing within the department.
Recruiting, selecting, onboarding and guiding new employees and ensuring a future-proof and professional team composition.
Encouraging continuous improvement of processes, systems and working methods within operations.
