Job summary

Rabobank is looking for a Wholesale Banking Trainee to learn how to structure and execute financing solutions for European wholesale clients. The program rotates across four Lending teams over 18 months, building expertise in credit analysis, financial modelling and client relationship management.

You will develop a broad understanding of the lending business, expand your network and accelerate your professional development, all within a hybrid work environment and a structured growth plan.

Qualifications

• Master's degree completed or in progress by start date.
• No more than 2 years of work experience.
• Interest in corporate finance, banking and financial products.
• Strong analytical and commercial skills.
• Ability to work with others on several projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Good written and spoken English.
• A proactive, ambitious and results-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Structure financing transactions for European wholesale clients.
• Execute transactions by performing detailed credit analysis and financial modelling.
• Prepare client meetings and pitches; participate in client visits.
• Manage a portfolio of clients and identify opportunities.
• Contribute to due diligence and legal documentation.
• Work on corporate lending, leveraged lending or working-capital solutions.
