Job summary

g2 Recruitment seeks an experienced QA/QC Inspector or Welding Inspector to support a fabrication project in the North of the Netherlands. The role begins with a Pre-Inspection Meeting (PIM) and continues with ongoing quality surveillance throughout manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has welding inspection experience, familiarity with QA/QC standards, and the ability to provide clear inspection reporting across heavy steel fabrication, offshore wind, or industrial manufacturing sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience in welding inspection, fabrication inspection, or QA/QC surveillance.
• Strong understanding of welding documentation and quality standards.
• Experience in heavy steel fabrication, offshore wind, energy, industrial manufacturing, or similar sectors.
• Able to work independently and provide clear inspection reporting.

Responsibilities

• Attend and support the initial Pre-Inspection Meeting (PIM).
• Perform welding and fabrication surveillance activities.
• Monitor manufacturing processes and quality compliance.
• Review QA/QC documentation and inspection records.
• Verify material traceability requirements.
• Witness NDT and heat treatment activities.
• Produce inspection and surveillance reports.
• Liaise with fabrication teams and subcontractors.
