Welding/Structural QC Inspector

Job summary

Anotech is seeking a senior QA/QC lead to oversee welding, NDT, and contractor quality management on major projects in the Netherlands. You will ensure material traceability, qualification of inspection personnel, and adherence to ITPs and Master plans.

Ideal candidates bring 8–10 years of QC/QA experience in mechanical, structural, and welding inspection, with CQI membership and international welding codes knowledge.

Qualifications

• Degree or Technical Diploma in a relevant discipline.
• 8–10 years QC/QA experience.
• Welding & NDT qualifications to recognized international standards.
• Strong knowledge of welding codes: AWS D1.1/D1.5, ISO 15614, ISO 3834, EN 1090.
• Member of CQI or similar association; Chartered Quality Professional preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in similar inspection roles.
• Experience in mechanical, structural, and welding inspection.
• Strong understanding of EPC Contractor Quality Management Systems.
• Ability to influence contractors and manage Customer–Contractor relationships.
• Professional English proficiency; Dutch recommended.

Responsibilities

• Verify welding consumables, equipment, and instrumentation adequacy.
• Ensure correct receipt, storage, preservation, calibration, and traceability of materials and equipment.
• Check qualification of inspection personnel and review work procedures, including special processes.
• Witness inspections per approved ITPs and verify inspection reports and quality records.
• Ensure tests, controls, and inspections follow approved Master ITPs.
• Verify documentation completeness for mechanical completion and final QA/QC dossiers.
• Monitor QA/QC dossier implementation and traceability.
• Ensure all NDT activities follow approved NDT procedures and validate results.
• Check completeness and filing of inspection/test reports.
• Ensure Nonconformities are captured, managed, and corrected effectively; verify NCR process efficiency.
• Track and close findings from walkthroughs and inspections.
• Support lesson‑learned activities.
• Ensure compliance with structural drawings and standards (AISC, ASTM, BS, etc.).
