Job summary

Q4S seeks a Senior Welding & Fabrication QC Inspector for a long-term assignment in the Netherlands. You will ensure the highest quality standards in heavy steel fabrication, witnessing critical steps and inspections per the ITP.

Responsibilities include verifying drawings and welding requirements, reviewing WPS/WPQR and NDT reports, and reporting findings to the Supplier Quality Engineering team. Certification in IWI and VT2 is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with heavy welded steel structures.
• Knowledge of welding inspections and standards ISO 5817, ISO 13920, ISO 17637.
• Extensive experience with dimensional inspections and reading fabrication drawings.
• Experience with supplier inspections, ITPs, and quality control during fabrication.
• Certified IWI-S/IWI-C, IWT, and VT Level 2.

Responsibilities

• Witness inspections and critical fabrication steps per the ITP.
• Verify production against drawings, specs, and welding requirements.
• Witness dimensional inspections of large steel structures.
• Review welding documentation (WPS/WPQR) and NDT reports.
• Monitor Hold Points and Witness Points.
• Identify and report deviations and punch list items.
• Report findings to the Supplier Quality Engineering department.
