Job summary

Huisman, a global leader in heavy-lift and offshore installations, is seeking an experienced Welder M/F to join its production team in the Netherlands. You will deliver welding work to specification, contributing to groundbreaking equipment for wind, geothermal, oil & gas projects.

You will work with safety-forward processes, have access to ongoing training, and enjoy an international work environment with a strong focus on collaboration and career growth.

Qualifications

• EU passport or valid Netherlands work permit.
• Good command of English.
• 4–6 years relevant welding experience.
• FCAW/SMAW/SAW welding certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan work with foreman to determine assignments.
• Prepare equipment and necessary materials.
• Weld to specifications and safety standards.
• Keep the workplace safe.
• Maintain tools and report defects.
• Think creatively to improve welding methods.

About The Position Of Welder M/F

Are you a welder with a passion for quality welding? We are looking for talented welders to join our production team. As a welder with us, you will play a vital role in delivering welding work to specification.

What do we expect of you?

As a Welder You Will

• Work in consultation with the foreman to determine work assignments;
• Ensure proper preparation and necessary equipment;
• Carry out welding work in accordance with specifications and safety standards;
• Keep the workplace safe;
• Maintain tools and report any defects;
• Think creatively to solve problems and improve welding methods;
• Always work to the highest safety standards;
• Have the opportunity to use and develop your welding skills.

You Are

• An experienced welder with a proven track record;
• Certified in welding processes such as FCAW, SMAW and SAW;
• Flexible;
• Practical and punctual;
• A team player with a proactive and results‑oriented attitude;
• Customer focused;
• Safety conscious and familiar with safety regulations.

You Have

• MBO working and thinking level;
• Familiarity with VCA basics;
• 4-6 years of relevant work experience or you are a new welder with the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Some Practical Things We Need You To Have

• An EU passport/valid work permit for the Netherlands;
• A good command of the English language verbally and in writing.
