Job summary

Huisman Equipment B.V. in the Netherlands seeks a Welder with a passion for quality welding to join our production team.

You will deliver welding work to specification and contribute to groundbreaking innovations in energy transition. Requirements include 4–6 years of relevant experience or the right attitude, certification in FCAW, SMAW and SAW, and an EU passport or valid NL work permit with good English communication.

Qualifications

• Experienced welder with a track record of quality welding.
• MBO level with working and thinking orientation; VCA basics preferred.
• EU work permit for the Netherlands is required.

Responsibilities

• Work with foreman to determine assignments and ensure equipment readiness.
• Carry out welding to specifications and safety standards.
• Maintain tools and keep the workplace safe; report defects.
• Contribute to innovative and high-quality turnaround of components.

About the position of Welder

Are you a welder with a passion for quality welding? We are looking for talented welders to join our production team. As a welder with us, you will play a vital role in delivering welding work to specification.

What do we expect of you?

As a Welder you will:

• Work in consultation with the foreman to determine work assignments;
• Ensure proper preparation and necessary equipment;
• Carry out welding work in accordance with specifications and safety standards;
• Keep the workplace safe;
• Maintain tools and report any defects;
• Think creatively to solve problems and improve welding methods;
• Always work to the highest safety standards;
• Have the opportunity to use and develop your welding skills.

• An experienced welder with a proven track record;
• Certified in welding processes such as FCAW, SMAW and SAW;

• MBO working and thinking level;
• You are familiar with VCA basics;
• You have 4-6 years of relevant work experience or you are a new welder with the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Some practical things we need you to have:

• An EU passport/valid work permit for the Netherlands;
• A good command of the English language verbally and in writing.
