What do we expect of you?

As a Mechanical Engineer, you contribute to potential project innovations and proactively support the further development of our engineering capabilities.

Your responsibilities include:

• Modelling (FEM) and performing calculations for mechanical designs of heavy (offshore) systems;
• Developing system-level, basic and detailed designs;
• Defining specifications for purchased components;
• Designing with a focus on material efficiency, dimensions and weight, functional lifetime, and maintenance accessibility;
• Performing detailed calculations to optimise and further refine designs.

You have:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering;
• 2–5 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer within the offshore or maritime sector, or in heavy steel industries;
• A strong affinity with, or keen interest in, complex mechanical systems;
• The ability to adapt quickly to new requirements and to set priorities effectively.

Some practical things we need you to have:

• An EU passport/valid work permit for The Netherlands;
• A good command of the English language verbally and in writing.
