Revolutionize the fan experience

At Tiledmedia we develop tech that powers the next generation of video streaming. Watch an e‑Sports match where you can instantly switch between every PoV, see multiple players’ PoVs in small separate windows, fully synced up so you never miss any of the action. Be virtually present in the Barcelona Camp Nou football stadium, powered by our borderless 360° Virtual Reality video, taste the atmosphere and view the game from multiple camera stand‑points at ultra‑high resolutions.

Now we need your help to push our Player SDK for Web to new functionality and performance levels. We use a combination of cross‑compiled WASM Golang with TypeScript in our Web Player SDK that needs to run on all kinds of devices, from phones to performance‑constrained set‑top boxes to smart glasses. Next to the Web Player SDK we also equip our Player SDKs with cross‑platform Web UI based controls, for standard stuff like play‑pause‑seek but also advanced interactive functionality like highlight shortcuts, interactive ads etc.

Responsibilities

• Typescript development, Git and brainstorming in front of a whiteboard to solve the next bleeding edge issue you encounter together with the rest of the team.
• Work on Golang based bits that interact directly with the Web SDK.
• Your work will be in the app stores, customers’ video player applications and front and center in the viewers face when they control the Tiledmedia Player.
• Help keep the work key to the company’s success.

Recent Work

• Worked with an Indian party to ensure the biggest cricket event on the planet is streamed smoothly in extreme VR quality.
• Worked on an advanced Multiview solution for Android TV.
• Automated the hell out of testing your own code (or that of your colleagues for that matter).
• Created an example web application for a new form of advertising with Tiledmedia Player – picture in picture!
• Submitted a ton of pull requests, get feedback, change code, repeat, merge!

Requirements

• EU passport or work permit.
• 1–2 years of work experience (or recent university graduate).
• Some experience with TypeScript, but no need to be a super‑experienced developer.
