Job summary

GLS in Utrecht zoekt een logistiek medewerker die zorgt voor een vlotte en veilige afhandeling van pakketten. Je werkt in een dynamische omgeving, waarbij nauwkeurigheid en samenwerking centraal staan.

De rol biedt flexibele uren (16–40 uur per week), reiskostenvergoeding en parkeergelegenheid ter plaatse. Een tijdelijk dienstverband met kans op vast werk, inclusief EPT-certificatie. Ervaring vereist is niet strikt; inzet en leergierigheid tellen mee.

Qualifications

• Bewezen kunnen werken in een snelle logistieke omgeving.
• Goede communicatieve vaardigheden in Nederlands en/of Engels.
• Bereid om EPT-certificaat te behalen.

Responsibilities

• Laden en lossen van pakketten volgens voorschriften.
• Scannen en sorteren van goederen met aandacht voor detail.
• Controleren op afwijkingen en ADR-veiligheid waarborden.
• Werkruimte schoon en veilig houden.
• Meegaan met afwisselende taken in het magazijn.

What You Will Do:

• Loading and unloading: safely handle packages following established guidelines to ensure smooth operations.
• Scanning and sorting: accurately process goods, including minis and NOCOs, with attention to detail.
• Inspecting: check packages for irregularities and hazardous materials (ADR) to maintain compliance with safety standards.
• Maintaining workspace: keep your area clean, organized, and safe to support efficient workflows.
• Adapting: take on various tasks within the warehouse as needed, showcasing your flexibility and teamwork.
