Job summary

GLS Utrecht zoekt een magazijnmedewerker die pakketten efficiënt verwerkt en tijdig levert. Je werkt in dag- of nachtdiensten met moderne tools en systemen.

Je voert taken uit zoals laden en lossen, sorteren en werken met elektrische pallettrucks. Een veilige, schone werkomgeving staat centraal en er is ondersteuning bij vervoer.

Start People verzorgt flexibele uren, reiskostenvergoeding en aanvullende pay components.

Qualifications

• Fysiek in staat voor actief logistiek werk.
• Beschikbaar voor minimaal 24 uur per week.
• Flexibel inzetbaar voor dag- en nachtshift.
• Goede communicatie in Nederlands of Engels.

Responsibilities

• Laden en lossen van pakketten uit vrachtwagens.
• Sorteren van pakketten op postcode en route.
• Bedienen van apparatuur zoals elektrische pallettrucks en rolcontainers.
• Zorg dragen voor een schone en veilige werkplek volgens de veiligheidsvoorschriften.

As a magazijnmedewerker at GLS Utrecht, you will play an active role in ensuring that packages are efficiently processed and reach their destinations on time. This is a hands-on position where you'll be part of a dynamic team, working in either day or night shifts. You'll use modern tools and systems to handle packages, contributing to a smooth and safe workflow. Whether you're loading, sorting, or organizing, your efforts will help keep the logistics process running seamlessly.

What You Will Do:

• Start with: clocking in, attending a short briefing, and receiving your task assignment for the shift.
• Handle: loading and unloading of packages from trucks, both manually and with the help of tools.
• Sort: packages by postcode and route to ensure efficient processing and delivery.
• Operate: equipment such as electric pallet trucks and roll containers to move heavier goods safely.
• Maintain: a clean and safe workspace by following safety guidelines and tidying up at the end of your shift.

• Flexible working hours: part-time and fulltiem possibilities.
• Shift options: day shift (10:00-19:00) or night shift (20:00-04:30).
• Night shift allowances of 8.75% and 11.25%.
