Job summary

GLS in Amsterdam zoekt een logistieke medewerker die pakketten verwerkt en bijdraagt aan een vlotte doorstroom van zendingen. Je werkzaamheden omvatten lossen, sorteren en laden in een dynamische, teamgerichte omgeving.

Je werkt 24–40 uur per week, met beschikbaarheid 15:00-23:00 en 23:00-08:00. Het salaris bedraagt €14,99 per uur, plus vakantiegeld en reiskostenvergoeding; tijdelijk contract met kans op vast dienstverband is mogelijk.

Qualifications

• Proactieve en fysieke magazijnmedewerker vereist.
• Beschikbaar maandag-vrijdag, 15:00-23:00 en 23:00-08:00.
• In staat om tot 30 kg te tillen.

Responsibilities

• Lossen van vrachtwagens en correcte behandeling van pakketten.
• Sorteren op bestemming en prioriteit.
• Laden van pakketten in vrachtwagens en zorgen voor veilige belading.
• Onderhouden van een schone en georganiseerde werkplek.
• Actief blijven tijdens de dienst door te lopen en te tillen tot 30 kg.

As a warehouse employee at GLS, you will contribute to ensuring that packages are processed efficiently and reach their destinations on time. What You Will Do:

• Unload: carefully process packages by unloading trucks and ensuring proper handling.
• Sort: organize packages based on their destination and priority for efficient processing.
• Load: stack and load packages into trucks, ensuring they are secure for transport.
• Maintain: support with cleaning and tidying tasks to uphold a safe and organized workspace.
• Engage: stay active throughout your shift by walking, standing, and lifting packages up to 30 kg.

• Hourly salary of €14.99, excluding allowances.
• Temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent position.
• Flexible workweek of 24 to 40 hours.
• Shift allowances: 8.75% (20:00-00:00), 11.25% (00:00-05:00).
• Travel reimbursement of €0.23 per kilometer.
• 8% holiday allowance and weekly or 4-weekly salary payments.
