Job summary

DSV is een wereldwijde logistieke organisatie met vestiging in Venlo. Als Warehouse Team Leader geef je leiding aan een team van 5–15 medewerkers en tijdelijke krachten, zorg je voor veilige en efficiënte dagelijkse processen en rapporteer je operationele resultaten op de vloer.

Je werkt actief mee op de werkvloer, coacht collega's en bewaakt de naleving van veiligheids- en kwaliteitsnormen. Een MBO-3-opleiding logistiek en minimaal 2 jaar supervisie-ervaring zijn vereist.

Qualifications

• MBO 3-opleiding bij voorkeur in logistiek.
• Minimaal 2 jaar leidinggevende ervaring in logistiek of productie.
• Ervaring in een magazijnomgeving.
• Goede communicatieve vaardigheden in Engels (Nederlands is een advantage).
• Proactieve houding en sterke organisatorische vaardigheden.
• Focus op veiligheid, kwaliteit en teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Coördineren van dagelijkse inbound, opslag, orderverwerking en outbound.
• Leiden, coachen en ondersteunen van magazijnmedewerkers op de werkvloer.
• Bewaken van productiviteit, kwaliteit en veiligheid.
• Zorgdragen voor correcte administratieve verwerking in het WMS.
• Rapporteren van operationele issues en ondersteunen bij procesverbeteringen.
• Samenwerken met Warehouse Supervisor en Customer Service om dagdoelen te halen.
• Zorgen voor een veilige, schone en georganiseerde werkomgeving.

Lead the people on the warehouse floor and make sure daily operations run smoothly. You coach your colleagues, monitor the work, and help achieve the daily targets.

As a Warehouse Team Leader, you’ll be the first point of contact for your team. You’ll actively participate on the shop floor, manage your colleagues, and ensure that daily logistics processes are carried out safely, efficiently, and according to schedule.

What will you do?

As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will lead a team of approximately 5 to 15 warehouse employees and temporary workers. Together, you make sure all warehouse activities are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

Your responsibilities include:

• Coordinating daily inbound, storage, order picking, and outbound activities.
• Leading, coaching, and supporting warehouse employees on the work floor.
• Monitoring productivity, quality, and safety standards.
• Ensuring accurate administrative processing in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Reporting operational issues and supporting continuous process improvements.
• Working closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and Customer Service to achieve daily operational targets.
• Helping to create a safe, clean, and organized working environment.

Wie ben je?

You are a hands-on leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and knows how to motivate a team.

You also have:

• An MBO Level 3 qualification, preferably in Logistics.
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within logistics or manufacturing.
• Experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Good communication skills in English (Dutch is an advantage).
• A proactive attitude and strong organizational skills.
• A focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.
