Job summary

DSV in Venlo is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to oversee an international, largely automated warehouse team, combining people management with logistics insight to improve performance daily.

You will connect the warehouse supervisor and operations, anticipate bottlenecks, allocate daily activities, coach your team, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement. The role includes a two-shift schedule within a dynamic, global cargo environment.

Qualifications

• experience leading teams within a logistics or warehouse environment (3PL is a plus)
• knowledge of logistics processes and affinity with automated systems
• strong English communication skills and a coaching leadership style
• a proactive mindset and the ability to switch quickly
• willingness to work in a two-shift schedule

Responsibilities

• coordinating and allocating daily activities within inbound and/or outbound
• leading, motivating and coaching your team
• identifying and resolving operational disruptions
• monitoring KPIs such as productivity, quality and lead times
• acting as the first point of contact for colleagues and the warehouse supervisor
