Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Support in Amsterdam to strengthen our logistics operations. You will ensure safe, efficient handling of goods and support inventory management in a hands-on role.

Responsibilities include receiving and dispatching shipments, data entry in WMS, and coordinating with carriers and internal teams. Proficiency in English is required; Dutch is a plus. AIT offers growth and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent level of education (and practical thinking).
• Experience in a warehouse/logistics environment is advantageous.
• Ability to work accurately and hands-on.
• Physically able to perform tasks in a time-sensitive environment.
• Strong English skills; Dutch is a plus but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Experience with WMS systems is advantageous.
• Forklift or EPT certification is welcome or can be obtained through AIT.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Flexible, eager to learn, and quality/safety focused.
• VGB security clearance (or ability to obtain) is required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check, and register incoming goods.
• Prepare, label, and dispatch outgoing shipments.
• Check quantities, packaging, and damages.
• Data entry in WMS systems.
• Coordinate with carriers, drivers, and internal teams for timely handling.
• Process documentation for air, sea, and road shipments where applicable.
• Support inventory management and cycle counts.
• Maintain safety and a clean working environment.
• Report deviations, risks, or opportunities for improvement.
• Operate forklift or pallet truck (EPT) if certified.
