Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in Venlo is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a high-performing, multi-national team in a modern, highly automated warehouse. You will coach Team Leaders and Warehouse Operators, drive productivity, and ensure safety and quality targets are met.

You will monitor performance, analyze results and implement improvements while coordinating with other departments to achieve operational goals.

How you do this? As a Warehouse Supervisor, you are responsible for multiple operational processes and lead both Team Leaders and Warehouse Operators. You monitor operational performance, analyse results and adjust where necessary. Thanks to your leadership skills, you know how to motivate people and continuously improve processes. You achieve this by:

• leading, coaching and developing Team Leaders and operational employees;
• monitoring KPIs related to productivity, quality and safety and taking corrective actions where required;
• ensuring optimal workforce planning and efficient resource allocation;
• initiating and leading continuous improvement projects within the warehouse operation;
• maintaining close collaboration with other departments to achieve operational objectives.

You bring

• experience in a leadership role within warehousing or logistics;
• knowledge of logistics processes and the ability to analyse and improve operational performance;
• strong coaching and communication skills;
• experience with KPI management and continuous improvement initiatives;
• a good command of the English language, both spoken and written.
