Job summary

DSV Venlo is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead a complete warehouse operation, from inbound to outbound, and to drive performance through data, leadership and change initiatives.

You will indirectly manage a Supervisor and several Team Leaders, focusing on achieving targets, improving processes and delivering value to customers. The role requires a completed degree and strong Dutch and English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management or related field.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in logistics/operational environments.
• Experience with KPI management, process optimization and continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical skills and decisiveness.
• Excellent communication in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

Within the warehouse, you are fully responsible for the daily operation of one of our customers. Together with your team, you ensure operational targets are achieved, processes continuously improve and customers can rely on the service they expect from DSV: you’re on it.

How you do this? As a Warehouse Manager, you indirectly manage multiple Team Leaders through a Supervisor and are responsible for the performance of your entire operation. You combine operational leadership with change management and know how to engage people in new processes, customer growth and improvement projects. You achieve this by:

• leading a Supervisor and indirectly managing multiple Team Leaders and Warehouse Operators;
• initiating and driving continuous improvement and change management projects;
• making decisions that contribute to a safe, high-quality and productive warehouse operation;
• maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to continuously optimize service levels;
• analysing results, managing KPIs and delivering sustainable improvements across the operation.

You bring

• a completed bachelor's degree, preferably in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Transport & Logistics or a related field;
• at least 2 years of leadership experience within a logistics or operational environment;
• experience with KPI management, process optimization and continuous improvement;
• strong analytical skills, decisiveness and the ability to think several steps ahead;
• excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
