Job summary

Houten-DHL Freight zoekt een Magazijn Operator in ploegendienst voor onze moderne terminal. Je combineert fysiek werk met logistieke taken en zorgt dat zendingen veilig en efficiënt worden verwerkt in een 3-ploegendienst. Dit is een tijdelijke aanstelling met uitzicht op vast contract.

De rol is 40 uur per week in een drieploegendienst (ochtend, middag, nacht) met reiskostenvergoeding en snelle feedback op sollicitaties. Ervaring in logistiek is gewenst; certificaat vorkheftruck is een pré.

Qualifications

• Geen minimale opleiding vereist.
• Engels beheersing vereist.

Responsibilities

• Laden en lossen van vrachtwagens op een veilige en efficiënte manier.
• Goederen verplaatsen met een vorkheftruck.
• Goederen scannen en controleren op juistheid en kwaliteit.
• Goederen voorbereiden voor outbound transport.
• Samenwerken met collega's om de operatie vlot te laten verlopen.

Over de functie

As a Warehouse Operator ploegendienst, you work at a modern logistics terminal in Houten where you help keep the daily flow of goods running smoothly. You combine physical work with logistical tasks and make sure shipments are handled accurately, safely and efficiently. You work in a dynamic environment where speed, safety and teamwork are important. This is a temporary contract with prospects for the future.

Your activities consist of:

• Loading and unloading trucks in a safe and efficient manner
• Transporting goods within the warehouse using a forklift
• Scanning and checking shipments for accuracy and quality
• Preparing and organizing goods for outbound transport
• Working together with colleagues to keep the operation running smoothly

As a Warehouse Operator ploegendienst, you keep overview during busy moments and work in a structured way. You actively contribute to meeting daily targets and help ensure that all processes meet the required quality standards.

You work in a 3-shift rotation with morning, afternoon and night shifts. Flexibility is important, because each shift has its own pace and responsibilities.

• An hourly wage starting from €15.61, with a 30% shift allowance for work between 6PM and 6AM.
